# Autotrade & Vending Rules

`@autotrade` lets you close your laptop with a shop still open, but on DewataRO it only works in one town — here's what you need to know.

## Morocc-Only Restriction

DewataRO restricts offline vending to a single map: **Morocc**. If you type `@autotrade` anywhere else, the server rejects it with "Autotrade is not allowed on this map." — your shop stays open, but you have to stay logged in to run it.

## Keeping a Shop Running Offline

1. Open your vend shop or buying store as normal (Merchant-line Vending/Buying Store skill).
2. Make sure you're standing on the morocc map.
3. Type `@autotrade`.

Your character logs out immediately, but stays on the map as a walking, tradeable shop — exactly as it looked the moment you ran the command. There's no built-in expiry timer, so the shop keeps running until you log back into that character and close it yourself.

A couple of conditions to keep in mind:

* You need an open shop first — `@autotrade` with nothing to sell/buy just tells you to open one.
* You can't autotrade while dead.
* `@autotrade` is available to every player, no donor or GM rank required.
