# Register & Play in Your Browser

DewataRO runs entirely in your browser — no client download, no patcher — so you can be in Midgard in under a minute.

## 1. Create Your Account

Go to the **Create Account** page and fill in:

| Field            | Rules                                               |
| ---------------- | --------------------------------------------------- |
| Username         | 4–23 characters — letters, numbers, underscore only |
| Password         | 4–32 characters                                     |
| Confirm password | Must match password                                 |
| Gender           | Male or Female                                      |
| Birthdate        | Needed to delete characters in-game — remember it!  |

This one account covers both the web panel (see [My Account (Web Panel)](/wiki/getting-started/my-account.md)) and your in-game login — same username and password everywhere.

## 2. Three Steps to Midgard

| Step                    | What you do                                                    |
| ----------------------- | -------------------------------------------------------------- |
| I. Register             | Create your account — username, password, gender, birthdate    |
| II. Log In & Play       | Hit **Play Now**, enter your username and password in the game |
| III. Create a Character | Pick a slot, make your hero, and start your adventure          |

## 3. Launch the Client

No download is required. From the homepage, click **Play Now** — the game loads right there in your browser, full screen, using the same page. There's nothing to install and nothing to patch.

## 4. Log In & Create Your Character

Once the client loads, enter the username and password you just registered with — this is the same account you created on the website. From the character select screen, pick an empty slot, choose your look, name your character, and you're ready to start playing.

Keep your birthdate handy — it's required if you ever need to delete a character.
